Winter Augmented Reality Meeting 2005 (WARM'05)
The fields of Computer Graphics, Augmented Reality, Computer Vision and Ubiquitous Computing have the potential to be synergistic. However, the overlap and mutual contributions of each area has yet to be expressed and understood. The specialist, immersed in his or her own discipline, struggles to see the "big picture". The core of the workshop is to be Augmented Reality and we are soliciting presentations from members of each community that illuminate the interplay between the different disciplines and AR.
Location
We intend to reserve places at the sport institute's hut at the Planneralm. This is the highest ski village in Styria, and has a record of entirely natural snow from the beginning of December.
Cost
Full board cost is 32 EUR/day for students under 27 years old, and 41 EUR/day otherwise. For the cost of ski passes see the Planneralm website. Discounts on renting ski equipment are available for those at the hut.
Duration
The workshop itself will last a single day, but there will opportunities to stay both before and after this date in order to ski, snowboard or enjoy the aprés ski.
